Making sense of your senses at work

an introductory webinar explaining how our senses influence our work performance and productivity.

Virtual Learning Experience

What is Sensory Science?

Sensory science explains that since our sensory systems are wired uniquely, we respond differently to the same work environment.

Through knowledge of sensory workstyles, these preferred patterns can be explained, optimised, and managed for a healthy, cohesive, and effective team.

Why is it important:

Through sensory science, employees and managers alike can learn to regulate emotions, make sense of workstyle habits, and improve productivity.

Being aware of your team’s sensory diversity has practical implications for team morale, trust, and organisational culture. Self-awareness regarding sensory workstyles improves self-management and productivity, ultimately impacting your performance at work. Team leaders will gain insight into sensory diverse workplace responses, enabling them to manage, motivate and develop employees more effectively.

This webinar aims to help you better understand an important contributor to burnout at work, and its management thereof.  You will gain insight into how your senses contribute to wellbeing (physical/ mental/social) and productivity at work.
